This week, 2/3A have been studying SHAPES! On the way to the Library, we looked around in the playground and found shapes everywhere! In the classroom we investigated the properties of 2D shapes. We completed a range of activities using geo-boards, pattern blocks and popsticks to represent shapes using different materials. We are all able to identify shapes, based on the number of sides.
What shapes did you find in the playground on the way to the library? I looked around and could only find two.

Wow 2/3A, I did not realise there were so many shapes in our playground. When I walked back across the COLA I could see all of the shapes that Mikayla, Emily, Gracie, Harley, Maylanee and Meleana had seen. I saw a triangle. Do you know where I saw it?
