This term, 2/3A are studying the Roald Dahl book "Fantastic Mr Fox". We are learning about how the author constructs his sentences to develop the characters in the text.
Here are a few Fox artworks we have done with Miss Gillman! We think they look FANTASTIC!

Today we began writing like Roald Dahl. We worked with a partner to write sentences that match the structure that the author used to describe his character Boggis!
Here is Roald Dahl's character description:
Boggis was a chicken farmer. He kept thousands of chickens. He was enormously fat. This was because he ate three boiled chickens smothered with dumplings every day, for breakfast, lunch and supper.
Here are some photos of the writing 2/3A have been doing with a partner. Please note that their writing is not edited - it is just a draft writing!
What do you think of their sentences? Can you suggest any improvements in spelling and punctuation or do you have any ideas to contribute to make their writing more interesting??
